On the afternoon of 11th January, the Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) – Bình Thạnh Branch, in collaboration with VNUHCM-University of Science, held the Awards Ceremony for the ‘Agribank Accompanies New Students in 2022’ programme and the ‘Education Security Allowance’ programme at the Nguyen Van Cu campus.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan, President of the University; Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nhân, Deputy Director of the branch; alongside the Executive Board of the Trade Union, leaders of functional departments, officials responsible for direct operations of the two units, and representatives from media agencies.

In addition to awarding prizes to 47 winners of the “Open an Account with New Students in 2022” programme, the two units conducted a ceremony for the Education Security Allowance programme. Furthermore, Agribank Binh Thanh Branch collaborated with the University to contribute VND 100 million for the repair and renovation of the dormitory, provided VND 32 million in sponsorship for students facing difficulties, and allocated VND 100 million to support officials and employees in challenging circumstances.
