On the morning of 9 February, the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics at VNUHCM-University of Science and the Faculty of Physics at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, signed an official memorandum of understanding to foster extensive, solid, and comprehensive collaboration in training and scientific research.

National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, is a renowned research-intensive public university. It is one of six national research universities and one of four institutions that comprise the Taiwan Comprehensive University System. Furthermore, National Sun Yat-sen University holds accreditation from AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Hsiung Chou (former Dean of the College of Science at National Sun Yat-sen University) shared his thoughts: “I am very impressed with the dynamism and development potential of Ho Chi Minh City. Such robust development would not be possible without the significant contributions of universities in Viet Nam, particularly VNUHCM-University of Science. We have chosen the Faculty of Physics as the first faculty to mark our collaboration between the two universities. I hope this partnership will foster mutual progress for both institutions, laying the foundation for comprehensive cooperation in the future.”
