On the morning of February 9^th, the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics of the VNUHCM-University of Science, and the Faculty of Physics, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan, signed an official memorandum of understanding to open up opportunities for extensive, solid and comprehensive connections in training and scientific research.

 

 

National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, is a renowned research-intensive public university. This University is listed as one of six national research universities and one of four universities that comprise the Taiwan Comprehensive University System. In addition, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

 

 

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Hsiung Chou (Former Dean of The College of Science and National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan) shared his thought: “I am very impressed with the dynamism and development potential of Ho Chi Minh City. And this strong development cannot be without the significant contribution of universities in Viet Nam, especially the VNUHCM-University of Science. We chose the Faculty of Physics as the faculty that marked the first step of cooperation between the two Universities. Hopefully this cooperation will promote common progress for the two units, creating a premise for comprehensive cooperation in the future.”
