VNUHCM-UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCES CLAIMED FIRST PLACE AT THE 24TH NATIONWIDE STUDENTS’ OLYMPICS IN 2022

On the morning of 29th October 2022 in Ha Noi, the 24th Nationwide Students’ Physics Olympics concluded after four days of competition. Thirty-six universities and academies participated in this year’s event, which featured 81 lecturers and 220 students.

At the end of the contest, the VNUHCM-University of Sciences secured the first prize. The results were as follows:

– First Prize in Experiments: Hoàng Phạm Thành Đạt, Phùng Tấn Phát;

– Second Prize in Multiple-choice Questions: Nguyễn Vũ Linh, Võ Châu Đức Phương, and Phạm Lê Việt;

– Second Prize for Exercises: Nguyễn Hoàng Minh Thư;

– Third Prize in Exercises: Cao Cáp Đình Nguyên.

In addition to the accolades received by the university, the Organising Committee awarded 14 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and 8 third prizes to teams that achieved outstanding results.

Through this competition, the lecturers and students of the VNUHCM-University of Sciences had the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in a productive environment, further asserting the university’s position and prestige in the Nationwide Students’ Olympic Competitions. Moreover, this event allowed staff, lecturers, and students to exchange valuable information and experiences, as well as to discuss potential collaborations between universities aimed at enhancing the quality of scientific research and physics education, thereby contributing to the improvement of education and training quality in response to the evolving demands of contemporary society.
