The deliberation underscored the necessity of in-depth research to identify suitable technological remedies for mitigating drought while concurrently enhancing water supply capacity in the Mekong Delta region.
The signing ceremony marked the establishment of a firm collaborative relationship, encompassing long-term and sustainable contracts for research, training, and high-tech development. This partnership aims to improve the quality of training and human resource development. The key aspects are as follows:
- Drilling and Cultivation: Both parties will collaborate in assessing educational needs, organising technology practicum agendas for lecturers and students, and conducting practical training sessions to facilitate efficient technology transfer.
- Applied Research: The coalition aims to engage in experimental applied studies, harnessing combined expertise to address urgent issues and facilitate technology transfer.

Both parties are committed to collaborating effectively to utilise these human resources for mutual prosperity.
