The Faculty of Biology – Biotechnology, VNUHCM-University of Science (HCMUS), has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three enterprises: VOS DISCOVERY Co., Ltd.; SEMIND Joint Stock Company; and TopCV Viet Nam Joint Stock Company.

This step aligns with the faculty’s strategic direction to strengthen university–enterprise engagement, aiming to improve training quality while broadening opportunities for student internships, recruitment, and collaborative research.

The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Quách Ngô Diễm Phương – Dean of The Faculty of Biology – Biotechnology, Assoc. Prof. Trương Hải Nhung – Vice Dean, alongside academic staff and administrators. Representing the partner enterprises were Dr. Lee Kun Gu – Vice President of Technology (VOS DISCOVERY), Mr. Nguyễn Bá Phong – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Branch (SEMIND), and Ms. Đồng Ngọc Phương Quyên – Executive of Partnership & Community (TopCV Viet Nam).

The cooperation framework focuses on five key areas:

       1. Coordinating training programmes and human resource development;

       2. Supporting career orientation, student internships, and recruitment:

            – Creating conditions for students to engage in internships within professional environments;

            –  Collaborating on career guidance and talent acquisition;

            – Exchanging information related to students undertaking internships at partner companies;

       3. Participating in academic activities, industry events, and career fairs;

       4. Collaborating in scientific research, technology development, and knowledge transfer;

       5. Expanding future collaboration based on each party’s capabilities and development priorities.
