On the morning of 6 March, VNUHCM–University of Science (HCMUS) hosted a working session with senior representatives from the Sakata INX Group (Japan) and Hai Phong Company. This meeting sought to exchange ideas and enhance strategic collaboration across academic training, scientific research, and the cultivation of high-calibre human resources.
The University was represented by members of the Executive Board, together with the leadership of the External Relations Office, the Faculty of Chemistry, and the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology. The visiting delegation included the Board of Directors of Sakata INX Group, Hai Phong Company, and relevant technical departments.

During the session, the parties reviewed the successful outcomes of recent collaborative initiatives. Furthermore, representatives engaged in extensive discussions regarding coordinated efforts in vocational training, internships, and the bridge between academic supply and industrial demand. Both sides shared transparent insights into current labour market requirements, modern curriculum design, and the potential for broader cooperation within specialised disciplines.

Through these practical partnership programmes, students at HCMUS will gain invaluable opportunities to experience professional working environments, refine technical expertise, and integrate into the international labour market. Conversely, these industrial partners benefit from early engagement with a young, creative, and rigorously trained workforce from one of the nation’s premier scientific institutions.
The working session not only reinforces the enduring partnership between HCMUS and international corporate partners but also marks a significant contribution to the advancement of high-quality scientific and technological human resources for the future.
