On the evening of September 8^th, the Award Ceremony of the 3^rd Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award (2023), honouring 58 projects of 51 collectives and 7 individuals on creative solutions organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, took place solemnly at the Saigon Opera House.

The project ‘Research on manufacturing thin film materials based on zinc oxide for application in converting waste heat into electrical energy and protecting the environment’ by the Center for Research on Nano and Molecular Structured Materials, VNUHCM (INOMAR) and the High-Tech Materials Laboratory of the VNUHCM-University of Sciences was honoured to win the Third Prize – Field of Science and Technology.

 

 

Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award is a typical award verified and awarded by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City every 2 years to honour organizations and individuals with outstanding works on research, solutions, and creative works that contribute positively to the development of the city. The award is meant to motivate, encourage, and create conditions for agencies, units, businesses, and people of all walks of life to participate in creative activities to promote the economic, the cultural and the development of society and international integration, firmly ensuring national defence and security in Ho Chi Minh City.
