On 2nd February, the VNUHCM-University of Science signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jeju National University (Korea) in the fields of Biology, Biotechnology, and Plant Environmental Resources. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and mutual support in scientific research, training, and the advancement of new technologies in Korea.

Following the signing ceremony, Professor Yong Suk Chung from Jeju National University conducted a seminar on “Plant Phenomics”. The Professor expressed his desire to engage in open discussions with peers in the industry, scientific researchers, and interested learners. Additionally, Professor Yong Suk Chung presented several research directions from the laboratory and the Subtropical Horticultural Research Institute. At the end of the presentation, an interview session was held for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students who are interested in the research directions and wish to study in the Professor’s lab.
