THE VISIT TO THE SATORI FACTORY AND THE SIGNING CEREMONY OF THE MOU ON COOPERATION BETWEEN THE VNUHCM-UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND SATORI JSC

On August 28th, the University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City conducted a visit to the Satori factory and proceeded with a formal Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Satori Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Satori JSC) at the premises of Satori JSC. This signifies the initiation of a cooperative partnership between the two entities and represents a multitude of prospects for the advancement of research and high-technology training.

VNUHCM-University of Science visited the Satori Water Factory in Long An

The factory tour and the subsequent cooperation signing ceremony were the outcomes of the meeting kicked off on June 7. During the meeting, both parties engaged in thorough discussions concerning research and development of water treatment technology and environmental preservation. Of particular note, both entities expressed a mutual commitment to providing aid to the populace in the Mekong Delta region, which is currently confronting the challenge of freshwater scarcity due to escalating saltwater encroachment.

The deliberation underscored the necessity of in-depth research to identify congruous technological remedies for mitigating drought while concurrently enriching the water supply capacity in the Mekong Delta region.

The signing ceremony marked the establishment of a firm collaborative relationship, encompassing long-term and sustainable contracts of research, training, and high-tech evolution, to improve the quality of training and human resource development. The key aspects are as follows:

  1. Drilling and Cultivation: Both parties will collaborate to assess educational needs, organize technology practicum agendas for lecturers and students, and conduct practical training sessions to facilitate efficient technology transfer.
  2. Applied research: The coalition aims to engage in experimental applied study, harnessing combined expertise to address urgent issues and facilitate technology transfer.
  3. Internship and human resource recruitment: Satori JSC offers trained apprenticeship opportunities for students to accumulate hands-on competencies and involve theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Both parties are committed to effectively collaborating to harness these human resources for mutual prosperity.

The collaboration promises to positively impact not only the VNUHCM-University of Science and Satori JSC but also the broader community. This initiative will address the water resource challenges facing the Vietnamese population, particularly those in the Mekong Delta, and lay the groundwork for future sustainability.
