With outstanding achievements in scientific research, Dr. Trần Thị Như Hoa, a lecturer in the Department of Magnetic and Biomedical Materials at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, VNUHCM-University of Sciences, has been named one of the twelve recipients of the title “Typical Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City” in 2022, as announced by the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of 26th December.

Dr. Trần Thị Như Hoa has published 22 scientific articles in international journals, of which 13 are in Q1 journals (with 11 as the main author). Additionally, she has five articles published in domestic journals (four as the main author) and has presented 18 scientific papers at national and international conferences. She has also chaired and co-chaired four programmes, projects, and scientific research topics, and is the author of a chapter in a monograph currently under consideration for an award.

In 2022, Dr. Trần Thị Như Hoa also received the Golden Globe from the Youth Science and Technology Award, the “Creative Youth” badge from the Central Youth Union, and the Outstanding Young Teacher Award in Ho Chi Minh City.
