CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2025 (ESD 2025)

On 10th January, the Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development 2025 (ESD 2025) took place at the University of Science, Nguyen Van Cu Campus, District 5.

The conference was organised to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Faculty of Environment, providing an opportunity for researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and undergraduates to interact, exchange knowledge, share experiences, and update on new trends in the field of environment.

The event had the honour of welcoming leading professors and experts in the field of environment from both domestic and international universities, including those from South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Belgium.

With the aim of promoting sustainable development, the conference became a forum for discussing research and practical solutions for environmental protection. Presentations and discussions by experts highlighted the importance of applying new technologies, improving environmental management policies, and developing solutions to address issues related to pollution and climate change.

The conference programme included both plenary sessions and specialised sub-sessions:

• The plenary session was held from 08:00 to 11:30 in Hall I, attracting considerable interest from numerous experts and delegates.

• The poster session took place from 11:00 to 12:00 in the courtyard, where postgraduate students, lecturers, and undergraduates presented their research findings and environmental protection initiatives.

• The presentation sessions continued from 13:30 to 17:00, encompassing:

The conference attracted a significant number of students, postgraduate students, and lecturers, creating a vibrant and inspiring academic environment. The presentations and discussions expanded perspectives on sustainable solutions, thereby contributing to raising awareness of the importance of environmental protection in socio-economic development.
