Continuing the unforgettable tradition of our ancestors, on the morning of July 27^th, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the VNUHCM-University of Science held a meeting to memorise the 75^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27^th, 1947 – July 27^th, 2022).

The event had the presence of Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the University, Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Du Sanh – Chairman of the Veterans Association, leaders of departments, Unions, Veterans, Union members, and students.

In a warm atmosphere, generations at the University had the opportunity to review the heroic history of the nation and express their deep gratitude to the merits of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Fallen Heroes, and Martyrs Heroes, and previous Generations have devoted and sacrificed in the fight for independence and the defence of our Homeland. Through the meeting, the teachers and veterans of the University also gave sincere and meaningful messages to evoke national pride, promote the maxim “When drinking water, think of its source,” and strengthen the knowledge and responsibility of today’s generation to preserve and contribute to the construction of the country and be worthy of the countless sacrifices of the previous Generations.
