On the morning of July 20^th, the Union of the VNUHCM-University of Sciences held a ceremony to award Nguyễn Đức Cảnh scholarships for the academic year 2021 – 2022.

At the event, children of officers, officials and employees working at the University watched circus performances, and arts and crafts, participated in folk games, visited food and souvenir stalls and received gift vouchers from the Organizing Committee.

Properly implementing the spirit of the Nguyễn Đức Cảnh Scholarship launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Confederation to honour the achievements of children of officers, officials and employees, the Union Executive Board of the VNUHCM-University of Science awarded Nguyễn Đức Cảnh scholarships to 20 students who overcome difficulties and excelled at all grades. These 233 students were excellent in all grades. However, those admitted to the University in 2022 will be awarded after receiving the university admission letter. Over the years, the awarding of Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships has become an effective and practical job to connect with Union members, employees and Union organizations; and, at the same time, encourage the spirit of learning and overcoming difficulties so that the children strive to rise and improve themselves every day.

The Union Executive Board of the VNUHCM-University of Science would like to thank the Sponsors, Supporters, Youth Union, and Divisional Unions that have joined hands to contribute to the success of the event and spread the core value as well as mobilized a lot of resources to take care of the children of officers, officials and employees.
