OFFICIAL EXTERNAL ASSESSMENT OF MASTER TRAINING PROGRAMS IN MATERIALS SCIENCE BY AUN-QA STANDARDS

On the morning of December 19th, 2022, the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, University of Science, VNU-HCM, opened the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) accreditation and assessment program for the master training program in Materials Science.

 

 

In the afternoon of the same day, the evaluation team inspected the facilities at the University at all two campuses. The experts gave comments and suggestions and highly appreciated the faculty and departments’ preparation.

 

 

AUN-QA is a set of standards with strict quality rules with specific and transparent criteria, focusing on evaluating conditions to ensure the training quality of the entire training program.

AUN-QA accreditation will help the Master of the training program in Materials Science step by step determine its position in the international arena.

On December 20th, 2022, the AUN-QA assessment delegates carried out an assessment and accreditation of training quality through interview sessions with teaching staff and graduate students studying in the Master of Material Science program.

 

 

December 21st, 2022, is the third day of the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, together with the AUN-QA delegates, to inspect and analyze the Master of Materials Science training program.

December 22nd, 2022, is the 4th working day of the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology with the AUN-QA assessment delegates to assess the training quality of the Master of Materials Science program.

 

 

On the morning of December 23rd, 2022, the closing session of the AUN-QA accreditation program of the Master of Materials Science training program took place. It ended the five-day working series with the AUN-QA assessment delegates.

 

 

Through interviews with the leaders of faculties and departments, lecturers, graduate students, support staff, former students and recruiters, the evaluation team had a comprehensive view of the educating program from many aspects, such as output standards, program framework, teaching staff, facilities, quality assurance, the connection between University, students, and enterprises, etc.

The event took place successfully with the participation of teachers, students, alums and business representatives. The Faculty of Materials Science and Technology would like to thank everyone who has sincerely supported the program.
