On the afternoon of February 22^nd, the VNUHCM-University of Science, held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with KTEST Science Co., Ltd and Khoa Thuong Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

KTEST Science Co., Ltd. is one of the first companies dedicated to providing next-generation genome sequencing services. Khoa Thuong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., formerly known as an infectious disease research group, belongs to the Laboratory of Molecular Biology – Department of Genetics, VNUHCM-University of Science. Both companies operate in the fields of Research, production and supply of molecular biological chemical sets used to diagnose diseases in humans, livestock, seafood, construction consulting, support engineering, technology development and transfer to public and private entities, hospitals, and medical centres.

 

To promote the functions and tasks of the units, contributing to improving the efficiency of training and developing high-quality human resources, the parties discussed and reached an agreement on cooperation in the following areas, including training and developing human resources, scientific research and technology transfer, organizing events and internships and recruiting personnel.

 

At the event, leaders of the units expressed their joy and believed that the signing of a memorandum of cooperation would open many opportunities for close and long-term collaboration in many aspects.

 

 

Marking this cooperation is a meaningful gift from Khoa Thương Biotechnology Co., Ltd, a Real-time PCR machine. This device will be located in the Genetics Department of the Faculty of Biology – Biotechnology of the University.
