On the morning of 16 October, the VNUHCM-University of Science welcomed a delegation from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).
This event not only created opportunities for partnership between the two esteemed educational institutions but also facilitated academic exchange and research collaboration.
Representing the University of Science, Assoc. Prof. Trần Minh Triết, the Vice President, along with leaders from different offices and faculty representatives from Environment, Mathematics and Computer Science, Information Technology, and Materials Science and Technology, engaged in open discussions with the CityUHK delegation, which was led by Professor Yue Chee Yoon, the Dean of Graduate Studies. Additionally, the meeting featured the participation of outstanding students, researchers, and postgraduate students from these faculties, fostering prospects for insightful and dynamic conversations.
During the meeting, the CityUHK delegation introduced their training programmes, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme, and highlighted the study and research potential available at CityUHK for postgraduate students, researchers, and students from around the world. Lively discussions resulted in a wealth of ideas and promising research projects while also opening new avenues for future collaboration.
The meeting established a strong connection between the two parties, contributing to the enhancement of value and quality in higher education at both institutions. This event marked a significant advancement in building a sustainable cooperative relationship between the University of Science and City University of Hong Kong.
