On 28 August, VNUHCM–University of Science (HCMUS) held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Cooperation with Labee Company Limited, aimed at strengthening the connection between training, scientific research and enterprise practice, while creating further opportunities for students to engage with a real-world working environment.

The ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Trần Lê Quan – President of HCMUS – and Mr Nguyễn Hồ Xuân Lộc – Executive Director of Labee Company Limited – together with representatives of the relevant departments and offices on both sides.

Under the terms of the Memorandum, the two parties agreed to establish a cooperative relationship on the principles of voluntariness, equality and mutual benefit, bringing out the respective strengths and resources of each side in training, scientific research, career guidance and human resource development.

The focus of the cooperation is the joint delivery of internship, company-visit and hands-on experience programmes for HCMUS students. Through these, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with operating procedures, quality management systems, supply chains and customer service within the enterprise, supplementing their academic training with practical knowledge.

Labee Company Limited will also work with HCMUS to share recruitment information and organise career-guidance sessions and job-skills training for students, while giving priority consideration to applications from HCMUS students and alumni whenever suitable recruitment needs arise.

In addition, the two parties intend to organise seminars, workshops and specialist discussions with the participation of experts, scientists and company representatives, focusing on fields such as chemistry, biology, food technology, testing and scientific research. These activities will help update professional knowledge, technological trends and career requirements for learners.

Labee Company Limited will support HCMUS in connecting with enterprises, manufacturers and partners both domestically and internationally, thereby expanding the cooperation network and creating further opportunities for training and research activities.

The Memorandum of Cooperation takes effect for a period of two years from the date of signing. The agreement provides a basis for the two parties to carry out specific cooperative activities, helping to connect training and research with enterprise practice while strengthening opportunities for career experience and development among students.
