GRATITUDE MEETINGS FOR TEACHERS BENEFIT THE PENSION REGIME

On the afternoon of 15th December, the VNUHCM-University of Sciences held a meeting to express appreciation for teachers who benefited from the pension regime.

In attendance at the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President; MSc. Dương Thị Bích Huệ, President of the Trade Union of the University; Mr Huỳnh Tuấn Khương, Secretary of the Youth Union; and representatives from the leadership of faculties, departments, and units, as well as the teachers who had received their retirement decisions from July to December 2022. The attendees included:

– Prof. Dr Nguyễn Diệu Liên Hoa, Faculty of Chemistry
– Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Du Sanh, Faculty of Biology – Biotechnology
– Assoc. Prof. Trương Thanh Cảnh, Faculty of Environment
– Dr. Lê Đức Phúc, Faculty of Geology
– Assoc. Prof. Đinh Ngọc Thanh, Faculty of Mathematics – Informatics
– Dr. Lê Bá Khánh Trình, Faculty of Mathematics – Informatics (due to prior commitments, he was unable to attend, and Dr. Mai Hoàng Biên, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics – Informatics, represented him).

In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, the teachers shared and reflected on their experiences at the University of Science, contributing constructive ideas for its future.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan, on behalf of the University’s leadership, expressed deep gratitude for the dedication shown by the retired teachers to the education profession. Throughout the history of the University, these educators had witnessed many ups and downs but succeeded in various fields despite the challenges they faced. He expressed hope that the teachers would continue to support and strengthen the University.

A journey through education had unfolded, filled with emotions. We sincerely wished all the esteemed teachers and their families good health, happiness, and peace.
