Chang Gung College of Engineering, which is affiliated with Chang Gung University, is one of Taiwan’s top private engineering colleges. The College of Engineering, founded in 1993, originally had three departments but now includes:

• 5 Departments: Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, Department of Electronic Engineering, and Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering.
• 3 Graduate Institutes: Graduate Institute of Biochemical and Biomedical Engineering, Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering and Graduate Institute of Medical Mechatronics.
• 3 Research Centres: Biomedical Engineering Research Centre, Green Technology Research Centre, and High-Speed Intelligent Communication Research Centre.
