The International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Green Technology 2023 (SEGT 2023) is taking place in Viet Nam from December 10th to December 13th, 2023, as a continuation of the journey that began with the successful organisation of SEGT 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and SEGT 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
SEGT 2023 Conference is co-organized by Universiti Malaya, Malaysia; Universiti Tenaga National, Malaysia; Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia; and VNUHCM-University of Science at InterContinental Saigon Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, with a large participation of domestic and international Scientists, Researchers, Engineers, Professors, undergrad and postgrad Students from Viet Nam, Korea, Malaysia, China, USA, Taiwan, etc. The Conference received over 450 abstract submissions from more than 30 countries and regions.
At the conference’s commencement, Professor Chong Wen Tong, representing Universiti Malaya in Malaysia, expressed his gratitude for being one of the conference’s co-chairs. He expects that this will be a tremendous chance for participants to exchange ideas and research, as well as provide the groundwork for furthering international partnerships and cooperation.
Associate Professor Trần Lê Quan, President of the VNUHCM-University of Science, reaffirmed the close cooperative relationship with the University Malaya, Malaysia; Universiti Tenaga National, Malaysia; and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia, as well as the significant benefits that the SEGT 2023 Conference brings not only to the attendees but also to the organisers and sponsors.
SEGT 2023 aims to promote sustainable energy research and technology, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and cleaner fossil fuel technology, in line with sustainable development goals. The topics discussed include:

Sessions taking place in the Conference include plenary, keynote and invited speeches, oral presentations, and poster sessions on various topics.
Accepted full papers can be published in conference proceedings, and selected papers will be recommended for publication in high-quality, ISI-indexed journals. The selected papers would be invited to be expanded for further review and published in a possible theme-based special issue for the journals, i.e. International Journal of Energy and Buildings (Q1; IF 7.201), International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Q1; IF 7.139), International Journal of Green Energy (Q2; IF 3.206), Sustainability (Q2; IF 3.889), etc.
