INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION EXCHANGE IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WITH JEONBUK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, KOREA; SUHWOOMS CO., LTD.; AND S&F VINA CO .,LTD

On 19th July 2022, the VNUHCM-University of Science convened with Jeonbuk National University, Korea; SUHWOOMS Co., Ltd.; and S&F VINA Co., Ltd. to discuss programmes and projects related to the field of science and technology.

The representatives of the participating units included:

From the VNUHCM-University of Science:

– Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan – President;

– Assoc. Prof. Trần Văn Mẫn – Head of the Science and Technology Office;

– Dr. Võ Hồng Hải – Deputy Head of the External Relations Office.

From Jeonbuk National University:

– Prof. Kim Chong Yeal – Director of Innovative and Regenerative Energy;

– Mr. Lee Kyong Moo – Management Team Leader;

– Mr. Jo Jung Mook – Senior Researcher.

From SUHWOOMS Co., Ltd.: Mr. Park No Chang – Vice President.

From S&F VINA Co., Ltd.: Mr. Lim Ho – CEO.

During the discussions, the partners presented and introduced their projects and programmes in a frank and open manner, notably the Innovative and Regenerative Energy projects. This project focused on the design and manufacturing of the ESS system, an electricity storage solution that ultimately aided the Smart Farm model in utilising solar energy rather than other energy sources.

Additionally, SUHWOOMS Co., Ltd. provided a brief introduction to its strengths in supporting the complete operation of the project. For instance, the company committed to assisting with the greenhouse structure and technical operations, as well as collecting agricultural data through an analytical system that monitored climate conditions, soil nutrients, rainfall, and more. Data science experts would then utilise this information to make predictions aimed at improving product quality, maximising production, and fostering the development of the agricultural sector.

In conclusion, the units successfully addressed the requirements and reached a joint agreement on responsibilities and mutual support for the implementation of the projects.
