The country recently celebrated Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, providing an opportunity for the University to congratulate, acknowledge, and appreciate the contributions of generations of teachers, officials, and employees to this noble cause. On the morning of 18th November, VNUHCM-University of Sciences solemnly held the 40th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20th November 1982 – 20th November 2022).

In attendance at the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Vũ Hải Quân, Director of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City; senior teachers; university leaders; and representatives from various units that have been closely affiliated with the University for many years, all of whom play vital roles in teaching, scientific research, and management. Also present were members of the University Council, the Board of Directors, university leaders and teachers, as well as leaders of specialised units, departments, and student representatives from the University of Science.

During the ceremony, M.Sc. Lâm Tường Thoại, Director of the Emulation and Reward Department at VNUHCM, announced the decisions regarding awards for outstanding collectives and individuals.
