On 14 January 2026, at the Nguyen Van Cu campus, VNUHCM–University of Science (HCMUS) held a working session with Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC (CC1).

Representing HCMUS were Assoc. Prof. Võ Hồng Hải – Deputy Head of the External Relations Office; alongside the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Information Technology: Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Văn Vũ, Dr Lâm Quang Vũ, and Dr Lê Ngọc Thành. Delegates from CC1 included Mr Lý Hữu Thắng – Head of Research & Development and R&D Specialists Mr Nguyễn Phan Anh and Mr Lê Huỳnh Quang Hậu.

During the proceedings, both parties presented broad overviews regarding research directions, professional strengths, and the practical requirements of each organisation. Discussions focused primarily on research avenues within computer science, data science, and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the delegation examined the feasibility of applying digital technology and automation to resolve practical challenges in construction execution and project management.

This meeting marks the initial stage in strengthening exchanges and assessing partnership potential between HCMUS and CC1. Based on the shared insights, both organisations agreed to maintain communication channels and systematically investigate collaborative ventures that align with the specific expertise and practical needs of each party in the coming period.
