On the morning of May 13th, 2023, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science – VNUHCM-University of Science successfully organized the Seminar ‘Education in the era of digital transformation and human resource development in educational technology’. Guests and participants include leaders from departments, agencies, and sectors; representatives from educational institutions; experts; businesses; workforce involved in digital transformation in education; and the press and media agencies.
05 topics were discussed at the event, including:
- Educational technology and digital transformation in education;
- Designing educational experiences with AR and VR technologies;
- Advantages and obstacles in online teaching;
- ChatGPT, opportunities and challenges for educational technology products in Việt Nam;
- Applying technology from Google to improve the digital competence of teachers and students.
The University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City is one of the pioneer universities that applies digital transformation in education. The university is always interested in updating and improving multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs, integrating intelligent systems to organize and manage effectively teaching activities in new educational environments. From practical results after the digital transformation process, Assoc.Prof.Dr Trần Minh Triết – Vice Rector, shared the topic ‘Strengths of the VNUHCM-University of Science in human resources training in educational technology’. He hope that these experiences will be useful for other companion institutions.
