On May 29, 2024, representatives from the VNUHCM-University of Science and the Faculty of Information Technology, VNUHCM-University of Science, welcomed a delegation from the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, India.

The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) is a private university located in Hyderabad, India, established in 2000. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering and technology, covering a wide range of disciplines including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

Some important details regarding the exchange and internship programmes between the two institutions are as follows:
– The exchange and internship programmes will last for 2 to 6 months.
– Students participating in the exchange programme will be required to cover their tuition fees.
– Conversely, the internship programme does not involve any tuition fees, and students will be involved in research projects under the supervision of the hosting lecturers.
– IARE can accommodate up to 10 students from HCMUS.
– The exchange of students from IARE to HCMUS is expected to commence in September 2024.
