On the morning of May 23, 2024, at the Nguyen Van Cu campus in District 5, the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics at VNUHCM-University of Science organised a MoU signing and a seminar on the topic “Applications of bioimpedance sensors in detection and monitoring.”

The seminar was conducted by Professor Congo Tak Shing Ching from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. The presentation focused on utilising the relationship between current and voltage, as well as impedance measurement techniques, to analyse and display the characteristics of objects or systems. Impedance sensing technology has experienced significant development and has led to breakthroughs in various fields, including healthcare and agriculture.

During the seminar, Professor Congo Tak Shing Ching shared his research experiences and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for international publication and intellectual property registration with VNUHCM-IPTC (Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Centre) and the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics. This partnership has opened up numerous opportunities for future research and collaboration between the relevant units.
