SIGNING OF COOPERATION MOU AND SEMINAR ON “APPLICATIONS OF BIOIMPEDANCE SENSORS IN DETECTION AND MONITORING”

On the morning of 23 May 2024, at the Nguyen Van Cu campus in District 5, the Faculty of Physics — Engineering Physics at VNUHCM-University of Science organised the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a seminar on the topic “Applications of Bioimpedance Sensors in Detection and Monitoring.”

The seminar was led by Professor Congo Tak Shing Ching from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. His presentation primarily focuses on utilising the relationship between current and voltage, along with impedance measurement techniques, to analyse and display the characteristics of objects or systems. Impedance sensing technology has experienced significant development and has led to breakthroughs in various fields, including healthcare and agriculture.

During the seminar, Professor Congo Tak Shing Ching shared his research experiences and signed a MoU for international publication and intellectual property registration with VNUHCM-IPTC (Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Centre) and the Faculty of Physics — Engineering Physics. This partnership had opened up numerous opportunities for future research and collaboration between the relevant units.
