On August 2^nd, 2023, the Signing Ceremony between the VNUHCM-University of Science and Q.I.S Nondestructive Testing Service Co. Ltd (short for Q.I.S Co., Ltd) took place successfully.

Q.I.S Co., Ltd is a Vietnamese company specializing in nondestructive testing, industrial surveying, heat treatment and providing project quality management services, project management consulting, Green & High Tech technology research and transfer, etc.

On behalf of the University to attend the ceremony was Assoc.Prof.Dr Trần Lê Quan – Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr Ngô Đại Nghiệp – Head of the Foreign Relations Department; Dr Võ Hồng Hải – Deputy Head of the Foreign Relations Department; Assoc.Prof.Dr Trần Thị Thanh Vân – Head of the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology; Assoc.Prof.Dr Huỳnh Văn Tuấn – Head of the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics; Assoc.Prof.Dr Trần Thiện Thanh – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics; Prof Châu Văn Tạo – Head of the Department in the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics; Assoc.Prof.Dr Lê Vũ Tuấn Hùng – Head of the Department in the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics and lecturers. The guests attending were MSc. Nguyễn Ngọc Huynh – Head of Licensing Department, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyễn Tuấn Khải – Director of the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ph.D. Sajeesh Kumar Bapu – President of the World Electronics Association (attending online). Last but not least was Mr. Lê Văn Nghi – Chairman and General Director of the Q.I.S Co., Ltd.

 

 

The Signing Ceremony officially marked the cooperation between the VNUHCM-University of Science and Q.I.S Nondestructive Testing Service Co., Ltd on experimental training strategy and human resource development, especially on students from the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics and the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology. The main goal is to educate Bachelors with international certificates, full of competence and practical experience, meeting the rigorous entry requirements of related organizations or projects.

At the event, Mr Lê Văn Nghi – Chairman and General Director of Q.I.S Co., Ltd highly appreciated the potential of cooperation between the two sides in manufacturing and applying the university’s scientific products. In addition, Mr Nghi added: “Q.I.S Co., Ltd is now looking forward to receiving support from the University in training and providing highly specialized personnel to expand the company ‘s scope from domestic to international in an effective way. This cooperation is also a good opportunity and a premise for us to be able to fully autonomously train desireable human resources for occupations related to ondestruction.”

Director of the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety – Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Tuấn Khải expressed his feelings about the Signing Ceremony today: “This is a mutually beneficial cooperation between Q.I.S Co., Ltd and the VNUHCM-University of Sciences in many fields related to scientific research and achievements, providing new and practical solutions to current scientific problems and contributing to the development of the country”. Besides, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyễn Tuấn Khải also represented the Ministry of Science and Technology to express the ministry’s support in this cooperation.

Before the ending, the Rector of the VNUHCM-University of Sciences – Assoc.Prof.Dr Trần Lê Quan, on behalf of the School Board, committed to comprehensively coordinating with Q.I.S Co., Ltd to bring the greatest benefits to both sides.
