On the morning of November 13^th, the Student Assistant Centre of the VNUHCM-University of Science successfully organised “The 10^th Students and Enterprises Festival 2022,” attracting 53 enterprises with 60 job exchange platforms and thousands of students participating in this event.

Assoc. Prof. Trần Lê Quan, President of the VNUHCM-University of Science, said that this is the first year the event is held at the VNUHCM Urban Area campus to expand the scale and facilitate the participation of students. This festival is an annual event prioritised by the University to create a close relationship between the University and enterprises as well as a bridge between enterprises and students, build a realistic environment to help students have an intuitive view of the recruitment needs of employers, and assert themselves in front of employers. Furthermore, this is also a valuable opportunity for enterprises to promote their brands and recruit quality personnel trained by the VNUHCM-University of Sciences.

The highlight of the ‘Students and Enterprises Festival 2022’ is a series of activities: the ‘The Art of Conquering Employers’ Workshop, the ‘Dare to Be Responsible—Dare to Succeed’ Seminar, the ‘Discover Deloitte’ Workshop Programme, and the ‘L’Oréal Discovery: The Future of Beautytech’ programme. This year’s festival also designed a startup platform to introduce and promote the image of startups and recruit and provide preferential programmes and services for students. The area for the “Startup Ideas: Innovative Products” exhibition made by students also attracted lots of attention.

At the Opening Ceremony, the Organising Committee awarded 15 scholarships, ‘Light up the Dream’, each worth VND 5 million, to students with difficult circumstances, significant study, enthusiastic participation in collective works, society, or students who are Officials of the Union or Association with superb academic grades.
