On 29 May, the VNUHCM-University of Science (VNUHCM-US) hosted the Signing MoU Ceremony with the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation (LSTF).

For over 15 years, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation has served as a reliable and devoted companion to students of VNUHCM-University of Science. With more than 260 scholarships awarded to date, the Foundation has not only alleviated financial burdens for numerous students but has also empowered them to pursue academic and professional aspirations with renewed determination. This enduring partnership stands as a vivid testament to the shared commitment of both parties in cultivating the next generation of intellectuals and contributing to a brighter future for society.

Under the newly signed agreement, LSTF will continue to offer full annual scholarships to full-time students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements while facing economic challenges. The scholarships will cover the entirety of tuition fees throughout the course of study. Beyond financial assistance, recipients will benefit from a comprehensive development programme, including skills training workshops, practical internships, community service activities, and opportunities to connect with an alumni network comprising former scholarship recipients.

VNUHCM-US is committed to implementing a transparent and equitable nomination process, ensuring that scholarships are awarded to the most deserving candidates. The University will provide continuous support throughout the scholarship period—from registration to academic performance monitoring—enabling students to realise their full potential and attain achievements that exceed expectations.
