From June 20^th to June 21^st, 2022, the SL-STEAM Research Group of the VNUHCM-University of Science successfully organised the Practical Programme “Designing Procedures and Creating Books of Graphics and Braille Letters for Visually Impaired Students” at Nguyen Đinh Chieu Specialty High School in Ho Chi Minh City.

The SL-STEAM Research Group effectively conveyed the entire book-making process in just two days. They guided the teachers of Nguyen Đinh Chieu Specialty High School and Soeur from Mái ấm Huynh Đệ Như Nghĩa (The Orphanage) in practicing the steps of drawing, CNC cutting, and heat pressing on the thermoform. At the end of the lesson, books were successfully created, bringing lots of smiles and joy.

At the end of the event, the team respectfully presented Math 1, Math 2 (The Book of Kite), and Geography 4 and Geography 5 to the beneficiaries and the General Library of Ho Chi Minh City. The units in the western, northern, and central regions of Viet Nam that had registered to receive books would receive support from the Research Group to carefully pack and deliver them.
