The Earth Sciences programme cluster at the VNUHCM-University of Science underwent an assessment by the ASIIN accreditation (The Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics) from December 4 to December 5, 2023. The evaluation covered four majors: Bachelor of Geology, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Environmental Engineering Technology, and Bachelor of Oceanography. The educational quality assessment and accreditation process was completed successfully after two days of productive work.

Key review sessions include:
1. Opening session and discussion with the Board of Directors, Departments, Offices, and Faculties in the University.
2. Working sessions with Faculty Leaders and relevant units of the Faculty’s training programmes.
3. Meetings and discussion sessions with students.
4. Meetings with employers and University partners.
5. Discussion sessions with lecturers at the school.
6. Visit the University’s facilities and laboratories.
7. Closing session and summary discussion with the Board of Directors, Departments, Offices, and Faculty in the University.
