On 9th August, the VNUHCM-University of Science had the honour of welcoming a delegation from National Tsinghua University, Taiwan, to discuss collaboration in the field of semiconductor microchips.
During the meetings, both parties engaged in profound discussions regarding the achievements and advancements in semiconductor microchip research at National Tsinghua University. The delegation actively shared their in-depth knowledge and research experiences and highlighted significant practical applications within the semiconductor industry in Taiwan, a sector that has been developing robustly on a global scale.
The programme extended beyond mere information exchange, opening up numerous collaborative opportunities. Scientists, researchers, and lecturers from both institutions held detailed discussions on joint research projects, the potential for coordination between the two establishments to organise scientific seminars, as well as programmes for partnership, training, and student exchanges between the University of Science and National Tsinghua University.
The collaboration between the University of Science and National Tsinghua University was anticipated to yield substantial benefits in enhancing research capabilities, training high-quality human resources, and applying technology in the semiconductor microchip field. This initiative not only served the development objectives of both parties but also contributed to the overall advancement of the high-tech industry in both Viet Nam and Taiwan.
This event reflected the commitment of the University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, towards international integration and the promotion of scientific research, which aims to generate new strides in advanced technology sectors, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the knowledge economy and digital economy in Viet Nam during the 4.0 era.
